Welcome to The Ogando School of Dance

Founded in 1973 at Grangewood Methodist Church Hall, Ogando School of Dance has grown into a well-known and respected organisation in Wollaton, Nottingham.

Alison Machin, along with her team of outstanding, highly qualified teachers deliver fun, high quality dance classes to children of all ages and abilities.

Watch your child grow in confidence and expertise following a structured examination syllabus although this is not compulsory to be part of the school.

Types of dance we offer

Pupils accepted from age 3 years (Ballet) & 4 years (Modern Jazz).
Adult classes also available.

Classical Ballet (RAD)

Classical ballet is known for its aesthetics and rigorous technique, its flowing, precise movements, and its ethereal qualities.

Modern Jazz (IDTA)

Modern Jazz is known for its unique moves, elaborate footwork, large leaps, rapid turns, and imaginative improvisation.

Our Classes

Classes run Monday – Friday evenings.
Our staff are enthusiastic and encourage the highest standards and this is reflected in our success in examinations at all levels.
